I Love this app, best tech app ever! Im Happy, because i find this app!

After entering the applications are moments inscription "mushable" on a blue background and then the application throws

So many annoying ads and pop up and open another page... Annoying

Dont care about the lack of landscape mode myself, but the app opens ads as soon as your finger enters the ad, even when scrolling. Meaning if youre just scrolling down the list, watch out! Youll be thrown into Safari without warning to be shown an ad. Majorly jarring and a major bummer.

The ads that take you to safari automatically make the app a huge pain to use

I understand offering a free service - it must be supplanted by adverts. Thats fine. But to scroll through the articles and have it pop up random ads in Safari without any interaction? Bad. Its not that I click on them. All I have to do is get my finger near them while scrolling. Even worse, the ads hang the browser periodically and force me to "force close" Safari and Mashable. Sorry but the web version is preferable.

Love Mashable but the ads make the app unusable. It has been bad for a long while but now it is really really bad.

Your app is poorly designed. Whenever you try to scroll down the news, it assumes a click and opens your ads in browser. It is almost impossible to use the app easily

Imagine yourself scrolling through some news articles trying to catch up on all the happenings in the world of tech and politics and as your finger slightly swipes past an ad, or even doesnt touch an ad, the ad springs open into safari and youre forced out of the app. This happens every single time you use the app and its unpredictable. Ive tried to figure out ways to avoid this from happening, but just now, while I was clicking on an article, it forced me into safari to view an ad. This is ridiculous. Its not enough to just include the ad amongst the articles? Im deleting this app because its too frustrating to use.

Advertisements automatically redirect you to safari without even having selected the ad. Ill NEVER use an app with such aggressive and obnoxious advertising methods. Already deleted. How are those ads working now?

Its difficult to avoid opening ads while scrolling through articles. The ads take you out of the app and open safari or redirect to the App Store. Its really frustrating and it happens a lot. Otherwise the app is good. Mashable is great. I hope that they fix this.

As far as I can see, this app doesnt work with the iPad at all. It brings up a window in portrait mode (even if the device is oriented landscape), and doesnt put anything besides the headers in it. What were they thinking...

This is exactly why I hate people. This app is great. I get to read my interesting articles, switch easily between topics, and do it without any glitches or bugs. The app does what its supposed to and yet yall complaining about landscape mode. Only issue is that some info doesnt fit on the screen, like if its only available on desktop. But I can live with it, I check this app like 6 times a day on the tech side. So yall need to stop complaining and start reading.

While its definitely come a long way since its initial release, Mashables app could still use a touch of shoe-shine. Audio for imbedded videos hardly ever works (I end up copying & pasting the YouTube links into my browser), and the "New" feed doesnt seem to be all that dedicated to showing you articles in the order which they were released... That said, I dont think twice about remaining tolerant over these minor glitches - the news these guys report and the language they report it in is far too good to pass up for a sleeker UI.

1) Wheres landscape mode? 2) Why does this app constantly and randomly shut off my music? Even when the app is muted? 3) Stop showing me stuff from last week on the front page.

This app constantly interrupts any playing music. Also the sheer amount of ads inline with content is annoying. You cant scroll down without clicking on ads half the time. This baits you into launching annoying sites or videos you dont want to view

Fix the rotation. Ugh

I am giving 3 stars due to the fact that I do enjoy the articles but I hate that every time I move my finger on the screen, it takes me out of the app into another window to something else. Too many ads is causing to much frustration and will be deleting the app for now.

It has a good mix of serious and funny articles, but sometimes ads will randomly open in safari.
